I am having a dissagreement with my husband concerning the following:
I am Dutch, speeking dutch to our 5 month old daughter, my husband is Norwegian, speaking norwegian to her. Now I would like to start with flashcards, teaching her to recognise words, and hopefully helping her to read early. I want to use dutch flashcards, since I am speaking dutch to her. My husband though thinks it would be better to use norwegian flashcards, since we are living in Norway and she will probably go to a norwegian school in time. He thinks she will benefit more from knowing how to read norwegian. But I can't use norwegian flashcards if I am the one speaking Dutch! Anyone who has advice for us?
Thanks, With kind regards, Anita Struik Waldeland
