My wife is due in two month's and I decided to raise him as a bilingual baby, so far so good.

my problem is that in a scale from 1-10 my English skills is about 8. therefore i have some doubt if I should speak to him in English or just stick to my native language???

Hi Talmor,

Don’t worry if you don’t speak perfect English. In this forum you can see that many parents speak a language other than their native tongue to their children -- and it works out great.

Also, this article talks specifically about raising children in another language than your own. It should answer most of your questions.

You'll do wonderfully, and it is an amazing gift to your child!

Best of luck.
