Im from the US and married to an argentine...we live in argentina and have a 2 month old daughter...i speak to her only in english and everyone else in spanish...i was just wondering from other peoples experiences if babies that speak english "coo" the same as babies that speak spanish? ( or any two languages for that matter). I was thinking it might be an interesting way to see if baby is aquiring the two different languages...

Babies begin picking up language sounds in the womb. Recent studies have shown that even newborn babies cry in an "accent" that noticeably mimics the tones of the language(s) spoken by the mother prior to birth.
